The OCI Virtual Cloud Network (VCN) is a customizable and private network on the OCI cloud. This role is part of the Customer cloud connectivity (C3) team, that builds and operates services that connect a customer on-premise network to customer workloads in VCN.
As a lead engineer, you will play a key role in project planning, technical decision making, and ensuring adherence to quality standards. You will collaborate with cross functional teams and contribute to the overall technical strategy of the organization. Leadership, problem-solving, and strong technical expertise are essential for success in this role.
In addition to above mentioned responsibilities, a software developer in Oracle is expected to:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including network engineers, architects, and product managers, to understand requirements and implement effective solutions.
Write high-quality, efficient, and maintainable code using programming languages like Java, Python, or others as per project requirements. Develop scripts for automation and monitoring.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging processes to maintain code quality and reliability. Implement best practices for testing and contribute to the development of automated testing frameworks.
Respond to and resolve issues promptly, collaborating with support teams and providing timely solutions to ensure a seamless user experience.
Design and implement solutions that ensure scalability and reliability, meeting the demands of a growing cloud infrastructure.
This role requires a strong foundation in software development, networking concepts, and cloud technologies, along with effective communication skills and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Hardware Engineering or related field
10+ years of experience in applications development
Expert skills with Java, Network concepts, familiarity in cloud technologies
Excellent communication and leadership skills
