Job Description Summary

　　At Avio Aero, a GE Aerospace Company, we’ve been reimagining the power of flight for more than 100 years. We are specialized in the design, production and maintenance of components and systems for both the civil and military aviation.

　　In this role you will be involved mainly in the assembly/installation/testing of mechanical components and modules.

　　The activities will imply working days/nights in the assembly and test department. Overtime and short business trips will be needed as required basis, based on customer demand.

　　Job Description

　　Essential Responsibilities

　　Assembly mechanical parts, components, modules, and assembly problem solving.

　　Test cell preparation: mechanical, fluidic and instrumentation connections on the test rig.

　　Give support and Perform tests of the assembled mechanical component with the assigned test engineers.

　　Apply maintenance to the equipment of the rig previous and after tests.

　　Any other manufacturing processes to meet business requirements.

　　Maintain Environmental, Health and Safety, Quality related and other Compliance requirements in accordance with regulations and GE policies.

　　Qualifications/Requirements

　　High school Diploma or Professional Qualification in the mechanics or mechatronics field

　　Ability to understand and work to engineering technical drawings or Instructions

　　Ability to use measuring equipment such as micrometers etc.

　　Knowledge of fluidic systems

　　Basic knowledge of instrumentation

　　Proven ability to work in and create a productive and rewarding environment for a small team

　　Availability to make business trips to Europe

　　Availability to work shifts where required

　　Fluent in Italian and good knowledge of written and spoken English

　　Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills

　　Literate in the use of Microsoft Office packages and ability to learn internal computer systems

　　High quality and accurate work output

　　Work visa in accordance with local regulation

　　Desired Characteristics

　　Experience in mechanical labor

　　Machining experience would be appreciated

　　Ability to multi-task and deal with a varied workload

　　Able to work on own initiative

　　Efficient and effective

　　Good verbal communication skills

　　High level of attention to detail
