　　The Configuration and Data Management (CDM) organization is responsible for ensuring our products are under configuration control and delivered on time. The CDM Organization consists of multiple disciplines that support engineering, our program offices, and our customers. Disciplines in the CDM organization participate in the life cycle of our products from conception to deactivation. The CDM organization is comprised of Effector CM (ECM), Data Management (DM/DEX), Software Configuration Management (SWCM), and Sensor CM (SCM). The Software Configuration Management (SWCM) department follows the basic principles of Configuration Management. SWCM establishes and maintains integrity for all digital products throughout the entire life cycle. SWCM provides innovative solutions through automation, continuous improvement, and a skilled workforce providing support for all digital computing products: embedded software, firmware/configurable logic, test equipment, simulation, Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and tools.

　　The SWCM department is looking for a full-time and on-site Software Configuration Management II Engineer, located in Dallas, TX

　　Responsibilities to Anticipate:• Facilitating a Configuration Control Board and document stakeholder approval• Performing quality of releases including compliance with established standards/processes• Managing Software Engineering artifacts and the interdependencies between them• Managing software development environments and coordinate software release management• Managing the software Configuration Management Plan and provide status accounting reports • Control, manage and integrate modules and components along with supporting work products• Managing Build Readiness Reviews• Supporting and managing build releases and build verifications• Automating builds through scripting with the ability to evaluate and optimize existing build software

　　Basic Qualifications:

　　• Typically requires Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of prior relevant experience• Working knowledge of Configuration/Data Management standards and processes on a project• Experience with SWCM scripting support tools• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)• The ability to obtain and maintain DoD Top Secret Security clearance and SAP clearances within 1 year of start.

　　U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

　　Preferred Qualifications:• Knowledge of Jira, Git and Bitbucket as Configuration Management (CM) tools • Technical knowledge of multiple software platforms and operating systems• Understanding of product lifecycle processes for both hardware and software• Knowledge of Software builds and releases• Technical editing, proofreading, and formatting of engineering documentation• Experience meeting short-turn and high-pressure deadlines• Experience communicating and interpersonal skills in working with internal and external customers• Experience operating autonomously with some supervision• Active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance

　　The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
