Job Description

　　MUST have experience installing electronic, lighting, or stereo equipment in vehicles, either in a professional setting or as a hobby

　　Candidates must have experience installing 3rd party products in vehicles, such as radios or amplifiers. The client will consider candidates that have mechanical background with non-professional experience working on electrical systems in cars. The client is looking for candidates that have good computer skills that can be trained. Candidates need to be customer savvy as they will be working with Fire, EMS and Police to complete this project. If hired, candidates will be installing lights, sirens, and communications gear for emergency responders for the state of NC.

　　There will be some travel. Mileage and any expenses incurred will be reimbursible through expense forms. Mileage will be paid at the gov rate. Sometimes the candidates will need to ride with a perm tech in one of their vans. Mileage is reimbursed from the client's office not from the candiates home.

　　Punctual person who is flexible to learn 2 way radio car installation. Prior vehicle after market install or using tools in vehicles is a must have. Audio car installation is preferred. If they do or have done vehicle installation as a hobby, that is something they are interested in knowing. This experience can be listed on the resume under a section listed as Hobby or non professional experience.

　　Preferably prior military with telecommunications MOS or car radio installation experience, either professionally or as a hobby.

　　Cultural fit. Sharp, well put together individual. Their end customers are first responder communities such as police and fire officials.
