As a Social Media& Communications Coordinator, your main responsibility will be to developand implement social media strategy to enhance our brand presence and engagewith our target audiences. You will be responsible for managing and creatingcontent for various social media platforms, monitoring social mediaactivity, analyzing performance metrics, and staying up-to-date withindustry trends and best practices. Additionally, you will provide corporatecommunications support to the DAWSON Communications Manager.This is a hybrid position with 2-3 days working from home.Annual Salary: $60,000-$65,000 based on experience and interview.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.- Proven experience as a Social Media Coordinator or similar role, 3 to 5years of experience- Solid understanding of social media platforms, including Facebook,Instagram, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, and YouTube.- Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms.- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.- Ability to stay organized, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.- Knowledge of current social media trends and best practices.- Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box.- Proficiency in writing communications in a corporate environment,including but not limited to employee engagement and organizational operationsupdates.Responsibilities:- Develop and implement social media strategy to increase brand awareness andstakeholder engagement.- Create engaging and informative content for existing DAWSON social mediaplatforms.- Schedule and publish posts on various social media channels.- Monitor social media activity and respond to comments and messages in atimely manner.- Track and analyze social media performance metrics and provide regularreports to the Communications Manager.- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in social media.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a consistent brand messageand accurate organizational information.- Identify opportunities for social media campaigns and partnerships.- Monitor the competitive landscape and industry trends to identify newopportunities.- Provide support to Communications team including internal communicationsregarding employee engagement efforts, operational updates, and emergencycommunications.- All other duties as assigned.- 10% travel.This position will report to the Communications Manager and will provideback-up support as needed and assigned by the Communications Manager.DAWSON is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action/VEVRAA federalcontractor.
