JOB SUMMARY: The Individual Skill DevelopmentEnhancement Worker provides individual skill development and support toadults referred through the Comprehensive Community Services Program andsupports and assists adults in the follow through and success of theirindividualized goals. Services include individual meetings, structuredactivities which build social skills, crisis intervention, socialsupport and collaborative partnerships to enhance daily life skills.LOCATION: Office is based in Kenosha, WI with time spent working in thecommunity. SCHEDULE: Hours are typically 8 hr work days, Monday-Fridaybetween 9:00am and 6:00pm with occasional evenings to accommodateclients\' needs. Flexible schedule. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Analyze clientcapabilities, strengths, and problems to determine the services requiredto meet the unique needs of the individual. Implement, evaluate, andreview goals in collaboration with team members, and the client.Exercise judgment to intervene as an advocate for the client in thecommunity and during emergency and crisis situations. Attend teammeetings and report progress to the CCS Program and make appropriaterecommendations. Organize and facilitate individual meetings andstructured activities that assist in developing pro-social skills andconnections. Increase life skills by assisting in budgeting and housing,employability skills, enhancing technology skills, maintainingabstinence, increase social connections/building community andincreasing independent living skills.
