San Diego based Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering and Land Surveying firm specializing in medium to very high end residential and commercial development throughout Southern California is seeking Civil Design Engineer to join their team. The Engineers will have the opportunity to work on interesting projects in places like Palm Springs, Malibu, Hawaii, Los Angeles, San Diego and more.

　　Responsibilities :

　　Prepare construction drawings for site grading, drainage, and storm water management for land development projects

　　Prepare septic layouts utilizing the current County of San Diego DEHQ LAMP

　　Prepare plats and exhibits to accompany legal descriptions

　　Prepare property boundaries using record maps and accompanying deeds and title reports

　　Ability to download/upload civil 3D points and create base topography

　　Ability to take design files and set-up for construction support and coordinate with surveyor

　　Work closely with other engineers, designers and drafters to ensure a coordinated design

　　Make required changes, additions, and/or revisions, as directed

　　Apply standard design principles to accommodate governing agency requirements for submittal and ultimately project approval

　　Organize and collect required plans, applications, forms and estimates and process submittal through various local agencies

　　Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously

　　Follow company CAD standards and QAQC protocol

　　Qualifications:

　　High degree of proficiency using AutoCAD /CIVIL 3D software

　　Prefer at least 3 years of full-time experience in Civil Design

　　E.I.T. preferred but not required

　　Storm Water and hydrology experience is a plus

　　Familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

　　Additional Information:

　　Compensation: $80,000 to $100,000 per year

　　Environment: 100% Onsite

　　Schedule: 9/80 work schedule. Monday- Friday. 9hr day except half work day on Fridays.
