Stellar Solutions is seeking a Signals Formation Analyst. In this role, youwill be responsible for conducting SIGINT signals analysis and signalsformation supporting the development, definition, analysis, and/orevaluation of project, system, or subsystem requirements and performance.Regular travel may be a requirement for this position.
Role/Responsibilities/Qualifications
Required Knowledge, skills and abilities:Experience in large technology/system development organizationsAbility to conduct SIGINT signals analysis at interactive Pre-D and Post-Dlevel to characterize the environment; including modulation, symbolrate, framing, randomizers, forward error correction, and other signalparametrics including Radio Signal Notation (RASIN) derived throughwaveform and bit-level analysis as well as pulse repetitioninterval(PRI), pulse duration (PD), pulse modulation types(Stagger, Dwell & Switch, etc.), scan type and rates, and othersignal parametrics including ELINT Notation (ELNOT) derived through pulselevelCompetent/familiar with current SIGINT analytic tool suites to includeCBET, ASPEN/Flexible Flyer, MARTES/Willow or equivalent. FADE/MISTskills would be a plusDevelop detailed signal formation test cases to satisfy Mission OperationalTransition Plan(MOTP)Ability to understand engineering requirements and develop test procedures tovalidate test casesPerform statistical comparison to prove signals to be in family of desiredresultsAbility to conduct manual geolocation of signalsExtensive knowledge and experience with space system performance, orbitdetermination, geodesy and modelingThorough understanding of SIGINT auto processingMust be proficient in SIGINT signal types and characterizationBasic understanding of signal formation algorithms in terms of groundprocessing (i.e. link, merge, geolocate)Demonstrated leadership ability to integrate, design tests and evaluateresults for complex aerospace systemsKnowledge of NRO, DoD, and Intelligence Community (IC) organizationsand missionsStrong oral and written communication skillsSecurity Clearance: TS/SCI with PolyDesired qualifications:Applicants should have a B.S. in Electrical Engineering or a technical fieldsuch as Physics, Math, or Astronautics. Candidates with equivalenteducational background and demonstrated experience will be consideredCandidates should have a proven ability to effectively work with a large teamof Government, FFRDC and SETA contractors as well as major developmentalcontractorsApplicants should be able to convey complex technical and programmatic issuesconcisely to senior management, and be a flexible and creative problem solverThe typical pay range for this position is USD $160,000 - $190,000 peryear, total package. Individual pay is determined by many factors includingwork location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education ortraining.
