　　Signal Construction Supervisor - Project Inspector / Project Quality Inspector :

　　Assign, oversee, direct, and assist with the activities of the work crew(s) as it relates to the installation, rework, and maintenance of Train Protection Systems ( carborne and wayside rail signaling systems )

　　Responsible for the testing, maintenance, repair, and installation of carborne and wayside control equipment as required for automatic train operation, block signal systems, and other related equipment

　　Responsible for the construction, installation, testing, maintenance, and repair of a variety of equipment / systems at various MBTA locations

　　Plan, order, schedule and monitor the delivery of all necessary materials and equipment

　　Ensure that all inventory is accounted for and safeguarded, and that equipment and facilities are protected and maintained in a safe operating condition.

　　Perform signal equipment inspections and testing according to the industry standards and regulations ( MTBA's SM1 and SM2, manufacturers' equipment manuals, AREMA, FRA and DOT )

　　Qualifications :

　　Experience in rail signal systems construction and maintenance

　　Experience in the installation, maintenance and repair of wayside block signal systems, supervisory control system and automatic train control systems, automatic vehicle identification, etc

　　Quality inspection experience to ensure compliance with standards of quality and safety requirements

　　Actual supervisory / managerial experience ( blue collar workforce - technicians )
