　　What are we looking for?

　　A technical expert and leader, helping build the foundations for new Insights across multiple strategic pillars

　　Manage, mentor, coach, develop and inspire a team of enthusiastic data engineers

　　Partner with strategic product functions to evaluate business requirements whilst thinking like the end user and translating requests into technical solutions.

　　Work alongside the Principal Data Engineer, ensuring that technical implementation of architecture, data modelling and technologies are delivered by the engineering team in an extensible and consistent fashion.

　　Collaborate within a cross-domain data solutions team to build a consistent and extensible overall ecosystem

　　Engage with senior stakeholders as a primary contact for technical solutions

　　What will be your key responsibilities?

　　Manage an agile team of data engineers. Evolve their skillset and personal development, driving best practices and innovation

　　Take technical ownership of Data Engineering projects and products within the ODDA analytics ecosystem

　　Partner with the DevOps pillar to promote DevOps & CI/CD methodologies that work successfully within an agile environment

　　Facilitate the design & engineering of data products & pipelines in a cloud environment using a progressive tech stack

　　Take accountability & ownership for platform frameworks and development best practices which allow engineers of all levels to build extensible, performant and maintainable solutions

　　Manage data from across pillars to produce valuable data assets while contributing to a connected foundational data ecosystem

　　Drive research of new technologies, promoting the evolution of the ODDA analytics ecosystem

　　Manage cross-team and stakeholder relationships to drive collaboration and meet shared goals

　　Lead on governance and security practices within our cloud big data platform

　　Partner with peers within a cross-domain data solutions team (e.g. product strategy, DevOps, Data Science) to provide multiple strategic D&A pillars with a connected and silo-breaking ecosystem providing first class analytical capability

　　Foster a data engineering culture that Is collaborative, inclusive, innovative, and inspiring
