What your 10 hour shift in this role might involve at OC-Minneapolis: The primary objective of this position is to ensure all product is loaded and/or unloaded from the roofing plant to the shipping yard in compliance with safety and operating procedures accurately and efficiently. As well as performing any team tasks on on as needed basis under the direction and authority of the supervisor. Here is a brief outline of this role... Properly drive a shuttle truck with finished material Load and unload finished products following proper procedures, verify quantities for inbound loads for accuracy. Understanding Owens Corning products Operate lift truck in a safe, productive manner in accordance with all safety procedures Perform cycle counts as requested Maintaining the shipping grounds (i.e. snow plow, clearing space, inventory, etc.) Maintaining a safe workplace What makes a successful OC-Minneapolis team member: Must haves include... High school diploma or GED and be at least 18 years old. Ability to work independently or in a team atmosphere with minimal direct supervision. Would be terrific if you also had... Experience in manufacturing, but not required. Experience driving a forklift. Motivation to learn and advance as an Owens Corning employee.
