Work in a stockroom and showroom environment. Independently move & arrange products on the showroom floor with direction from the Visual Team Leaders. Responsible for all aspects of product flow. Independently unload weekly truck. Transfer product from the dock. Organize product in the stockroom or set it up on the showroom floor. Monitor incoming product for structural integrity and/or flows. Maintain and maximize floor inventory by arranging showroom floor and setting-up incoming product. Remove sold product from floor. Wrap and store until customer pick up or delivery. Load product into customer vehicle for pickup. Organize and maintain the stockroom and staging area. Keep the backroom, staging area neat and clean. Maintain cardboard trailer/dumpsters. Clerical duties: complete and submit weekly visual checklist, document stockroom inventory. Receive, distribute and/or install parts that are ordered for repairing floor samples. Building maintenance, complete simple repairs. Daily janitorial and housekeeping responsibilities for the stockroom and restrooms. Knowledge and Skills Ability to use hand tools (example drill & power saw).Proper methods for lifting/stacking and leverage. Basic Computer functions. Detail oriented. Ability to assemble and move furniture within the store. Ability to communicate with others and be a team player. Ability to take direction and constructive criticism. Physical Requirements Stand, walk, climb, bend, stretch and lift. Climb ladders while carrying large boxes. Frequently lift 50 or more pounds. Manually unload and load product repeatedly from semi-trailers. Ability to maneuver 200 or more pounds. Move furniture to and from trailers, dock, stockroom, sales floor, loading area and customer vehicles.
