Description:

　　Must Haves:

　　Previous shop or labor experience, familiarity/comfortability working in fast paced environment

　　Reliability and ability to drive to the shop in Sewickley each day

　　Ability to use a tape measure/learn quickly to use one (non-negotiable)

　　Willingness to learn construction skills and ability to retain knowledge learned about HVAC

　　Hands on ability to use snips and other hand tools to measure, cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal and duct work pieces

　　This is an HVAC contractor that works on all residential new construction. Their clients are Dan Ryan Builders, Ryan Homes, Heartland Homes, Eddy Homes, etc. They are looking for entry level installers to install HVAC systems in new homes. Job duties include:

　　-Building and assembling sheet metal into ductwork

　　-Loading and unloading trucks for site deliveries

　　-Measuring distances with a tape measure.

　　-Uses hand/power tools.

　　-Fabricate or alter parts at construction sites, using shears, hammers, punches, or drills.

　　-Maintain personal and company tools and equipment.

　　-Utilizes mastic on ductwork.

　　-Performs other related tasks as required.

　　Tools contractor provides:

　　Hammer (16+ ounces)

　　Screwdriver (1/4 flat tip)

　　Utility Knife

　　Tape Measure

　　Tool belt

　　Pencil

　　All other project specific materials/tools will be provided by PHC

　　Skills:

　　Installation, Install, hand and power tools, new construction, measuring, tape measure, hands-on, mechanically inclined, labor, ductwork, sheet metal

　　Additional Skills & Qualifications:

　　Nice to haves: Any HVAC or Sheet metal construction experience is preferred, not required - Any certs are preferred, not required - Takes direction well from the shop manager and stays busy, looks for the next task to do on their own
