  We are seeking a highly skilled Equipment Engineering Project Manager to join our team. The Equipment Engineering Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of capital equipment projects, from initial planning to completion. This leadership role includes developing standards for equipment projects, managing budgets and timelines, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring that projects are completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.

  Key Responsibilities:

  Develop and implement standards and best practices for equipment installation projects. Oversee all aspects of equipment installation projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution.

  Coordinate with internal teams, external vendors, and contractors to ensure smooth project execution.

  Manage project budgets and timelines to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

  Monitor and report on project progress, identifying any issues or risks and taking corrective action as needed.

  Ensure that all projects comply with state and local building codes and safety standards. Provide regular updates to senior management on project status and performance.

  Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

  Basic Qualifications:

  Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management/related field or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience.

  U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

  Proven experience in project management, with a strong track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

  Excellent project management skills, including the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work effectively.

  Knowledge of relevant regulations and safety standards.

  Experience with CAD and project management software.

  Preferred Qualifications:

  Master’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.

  Professional certification in project management (e.g., PMP).

  Experience working in a similar role within the aerospace sector.

  Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.

  The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

  Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

  Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

  This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
