Summary
The Valve Shop Scheduler is primarily responsible for on time delivery of valves and services performed in the Valving Department. He/she will anticipate, plan, and assist in mobilizing resources needed to successfully meet customers' needs. The incumbent will monitor due dates of orders, monitor supply chain, coordinate relevant activities with other Pioneer branches, and liaise with customers on their questions and concerns
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain a Production Log for the Valving DepartmentReview new orders for accuracy and situational readinessQueue work for productionEscalate orders as neededMaintain Pioneer Field Service ScheduleKeep active Job folders up to dateRetain a list of open Final Set jobsPerform after action reports as requiredAct as a primary point of contact and information resource for customers, sales, and operationsreceive and react to customer questions, requests, and complaintsmodify ordersquoting repairs after inspectionsPerform daily, weekly, and monthly customer progress updates as needed (Afton, WRB)Liaise with supply chain to assure on time delivery to customersSpearhead supply cage organization and assure timely organization of newly received parts and materialsLeverage analytical skillset to support department initiatives and needsOrder Valving Department consumables as neededSupport shop supervision on final product quality inspections as neededAll other duties as assignedSkill/Experience Requirements
Bachelor's degree or an equivalent work history.Working knowledge of ASME, API, DOT, or National Board is desiredDemonstrates ability to forecast shop needs and react as neededExhibits ability to organize workflow for efficient and on time completionAbility to work at all levels of the Pioneer organization to accomplish common goalGood computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft applications.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Strong work ethic with excellent interpersonal skills.5% domestic travelPioneer Industrial is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
