Warehouse Tech Job Summary
The ideal candidate will be an actively engaged employee who has a strong commitment to working safe, a clear focus on meeting quality standards, and pays strong attention to detail. Two years forklift experience and stand-up experience strongly preferred. Previous experience in operating clamp trucks, pallet jacks, stand-up jacks, baler, on-board computers, RF scanners, etc. is a plus. Selection criteria could include, but is not limited to necessary shipping department experience, an interview process, current job performance evaluations, attendance record, and seniority.
Essential Job Functions:
Coordinate shipments
Load/ Unload trucks
Pull Fold-Pak Orders, if needed
Organize Raw Materials
Transfer board between warehouse to ensure continuous production, if needed
Load waste trailer
Able to run balers and keep up with the efficiency of the baler room (shredder and empty buggies)
Pull orders and stage equipment
Supply departments with raw materials (film, adhesives, string, tape, etc.)
General Responsibilities including but not limited to:
Ability to work safely and comply with all safety regulations.
Ability to operate various manufacturing equipment, follow specific direction and other duties as assigned.
Maintain a clean work environment.
Strong / effective communication skills and have basic math and computer skills.
Ability to lift, push or pull 50lbs, navigate stairs, stand, walk, bend, and kneel throughout the entire shift.
Able to hear doorbell from shipping door.
May be REQUIRED to work daily OVERTIME, weekend work and various shifts depending on the schedule, customer demand, and training necessities.
