We are looking for a Sheet Metal Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the fabrication, installation, and maintenance of sheet metal products and systems. This position requires sheet metal fabrication processes, as well as the ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. The ideal candidate will be someone looking to learn and acquire knowledge to apply to the job site. You will learn from experts in the field to further your education and future.Responsibilities:Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.Fabricate sheet metal components using shears, brakes, and presses.Layout and cut metal sheets according to measurements.Assemble and install sheet metal components using rivets, bolts, screws, and welding equipment.Install ductwork systems for air conditioning, heating, ventilation, and other applications.Inspect completed work for accuracy and conformance to specifications.Climbing ladders and walking on top of roofs(must not be afraid of heights).Welding experience (preferred).Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $18.00 - $28.00 per hourBenefits:Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceExperience level: 2 yearsShift: 8 hour shiftWeekly day range: Monday to FridayWork setting: Construction siteWork Location: On the road
