Position Overview:
Nationwide IT Services (NIS) is seeking a SharePoint Developer to join its flagship contract to support a new task order. The ideal candidate will have expertise with SharePoint (both on-premises and SharePoint Online) in terms creating, configuring and maintaining sites, accounts/groups, libraries and related out-of-the-box features. The SharePoint Developer should also have experience using PowerShell, MS SQL Server and an understanding of database concepts such as tables, relationships, SQL queries, stored procedures and indexes. Experience with SPFx and Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate and PowerBI) is a plus. The candidate will report to the Enterprise Applications Project Manager and provide regular updates on project status/issues/concerns/risks.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Work with stakeholders to review existing SharePoint applications and identify changes/enhancements and improvements opportunities
• Responsible for creation/configuration of new SharePoint sites and support existing SharePoint sites and related libraries, controls and tools.
• Administer applications (but not limited to) managing permissions/access and creating/maintaining groups to ensure security of data
• Monitor execution of scheduled batch jobs and apply updates to PowerShell scripts as needed
• Assist in the design, development and implementation of solutions using PowerApps along with Power Automate as required
• Collaborate with other SharePoint SMEs to ensure all development/adminstration efforts are aligned with the agency's security policies.
Job Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field required.
• 4-6 years of experience with Microsoft SharePoint administration/development and maintenance (both on-premises and SharePoint Online)
• 2-3 years of experience using the Microsoft Power Platform, including development using PowerApps and workflow creation using Power Automate
• Ability to create and update PowerShell scripts and learn new programming languages as needed.
• Must be US Citizen or Authorized to Work in the United States.
• Ability to obtain and retain a Public Trust clearance.
Additional Skills:
• Microsoft certifications in SharePoint and Power Platform preferred.
