Grundfos Italy is looking for a Service Sales Development Engineer within our Water Utilities team .

This position will report directly to our Area Sales Manager for Water Utilities Italy and Greece and collaborate closely with External Sales Team, the Divisional Service Business Development and Digital Sales.
Main external stakeholders are Service Partners and water utilities.
What is the job about?
Responsible to lead the service sales within Water Utility
Call on customers to increase awareness of Grundfos aftermarket business, increase service agreements, and promote acceptance of the company’s products and services.
Promotes the image of the Company, its products and services and demonstrates and instructs in their uses.
Performs troubleshooting and emergency call outs as may be required, perform energy optimization activities, assists commissioning on the field and training as necessary.
Promote Grundfos digital technologies as a aftermarket service offering.
Ensure accurate and dedicated maintenance of CRM account details
Responsible for selection of equipment with or without written specifications and providing customers with a solution to resolve their pumping system problems.
Stays abreast of the service industry trends, evolutions and applications. Keeps Management informed of competitive conditions and makes recommendations on product changes, additions or new products with major potential.
Perform all work in compliance with company policies, procedures, legislation, regulations and direction and identify non-compliance situations for resolution.
Comply with all health and safety initiatives to ensure the Company remains a safe workplace.
This role is expected to work in a matrix organization with strong collaboration across various sales segments and operations teams.
What do you need to apply?
Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical or Industrial Engineering or other technical degree required; or a combination of training, education and experience.
Additionally, have at least 3 years of experience of proven track record in Service sales in a Manufacturing Industry.
Preferably has exposure to the Water Utilities.
Experience driving developed processes within the service environment.
Ability to lead processes or projects.
Ability to lead a business process within the service environment.
Willing to work flexible schedules/hours, and engage in significant domestic travel
A strong self-starter, able to work efficiently and effectively without immediate supervision
High integrity, ethics, and a positive attitude
