Service Portal Developer - 12 months FTC
Role location – Zaventem, Belgium
We are excited to be looking for a Front End Developer with experience of designing and developing attractive, user-friendly and responsive web applications, to join our Solutions Team in Belgium.
In this role you will collaborate with our technical support teams (both internal and field service engineers) to ensure that our applications are well-designed and meet user needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Work close together and report to one of the founders of the existing Service Portal Tool with the focus on:
Rework and optimize the existing Service Portal tool to improve performance and user experience
Design, develop, and implement new tools to meet evolving business needs
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and explore effective integration with other platforms
Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure code quality and reliability
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to continuously enhance our technology stack
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree (or studying towards) in computer Science or related field
Experience in Java development, with a strong proficiency in Java EE or Spring frameworks
Experience in API design and integration with third-party platforms
Experience in programming language that can make HTTP requests and handle JSON or XML data (Java, Javascript, Python, Spring, Hibernate, Thymeleaf)
Salesforce API documentation experience (available endpoints, request formats, authentication methods and response structures)
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset
