Description
Convergint is looking for a full-time, enthusiastic, results driven and forward-thinking Service Account Executive to join our amazing culture. In this role, you will be responsible for generating new Customer Support Program service agreements (CSPs) through the acquisition of new accounts and growth of net new service agreements in existing accounts. You’ll sell new CSPs to existing customers and also cross-sell into other service product segments. You’ll also execute renewals, monitoring for expiring agreements and upsell/renew. As a Service Account Executive, you are a part of a dynamic team that allows you to grow as Convergint grows.
If you are the successful candidate for this position, you excel at creating and closing opportunities by using a consultative approach to selling. You are a sales professional with a proven track record in selling through the full sales cycle, with the ability to prospect and effectively present to CIO/VP/Director of Facility/Security levels and down.

Articulate Convergint’s value and service agreement benefits to potential clients on the phone, virtually, and in-person
Prospect, qualify and generate new business within assigned territory and/or assigned target accounts and existing Convergint accounts.
New Project Agreements - Partner with Solution Account Executives to build CSP service agreements into new system proposals
Existing Customer (Installed Base) – Prospect in existing customer base to identify and sell CSP service agreements to those who did not purchase upfront during installation
Expanded CSP Services - Target existing CSP customers to cross-sell into other business segments; for example, cross-sell Fire service agreement to existing Security customers.
Convert customers with high spend on technician service calls to service plans
Target and win back previous customers
Handle renewals as required/needed
Collaborate with sales and service colleagues to execute local sales strategies, driving pipeline development to achieve weekly, monthly & quarterly sales goals
Participate in relevant events on behalf of Convergint, including local/regional trade associations and conferences
Perform other duties and responsibilities as required
What You’ll Need
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven track record of achieving sales goals in a consultative based sales environment
Solid teamwork skills
Ability to understand technology with the ability to articulate value
Motivated, driven and results oriented
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
Strong organization skills and ability to manage multiple high priority items simultaneously and successfully
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite - Microsoft Outlook, Project, Excel, Word and Power Point skills

Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in business preferred, or other equivalent degreeExperience: 3-5+ years of previous B2B business development or sales experience
Experience in one or more of the following industries preferred, but not required: building systems (electronic, fire alarm & life safety, building automation, elevator, etc)Certifications & Licenses:
