BAE Systems is seeking an exceptional Subproject Program Manager with extensive Systems Engineering and program execution experience for an exciting opportunity to support the Air Force's acquisition of the next generation Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM).

This position will act as the Subproject Technical Manager supporting the Sentinel Milestone C program office and will directly support the Sentinel Milestone C Program Manager (government Senior Materiel Leader) as he/she enables the acquisition and development of the next generation ICBM. Duties will include working in a team of project managers and engineers who are providing expert advice and support to GBSD Division leaders on all systems engineering and integration aspects throughout the acquisition cycle. Areas of responsibility that fall under the Milestone C Program Office include: weapon system requirements and verification, modeling simulation and analysis, nuclear hardness and survivability, digital engineering systems, architecture tools and applications, product lifecycle management, configuration and data management, quality and manufacturing engineering, weapons system cyber security, nuclear surety, system safety, program protection and systems integration associated with the early procurement of hardware enabling low rate initial production.
To successfully field the new weapon system, the Sentinel program requires a highly-experienced subproject Program Manager with a willingness to lead, learn, and contribute in a fast-paced environment. The applicant must possess high energy and a strong motivation to make a difference. They must be comfortable working with changing priorities. The ability to switch tasks and multi-task with minimal disruption is a must.
Specifically, this BAE Systems team member will serve as a technical program manager responsible for supporting the government customer in the creation, review, and assessment of documents, architecture, and Model Based System Engineering artifacts in order to meet Sentinel acquisition requirements and timelines. This subproject program manager will contribute towards the leadership for the day-to-day operations of the Milestone C Division including status tracking, meeting support, schedule development and management. The position interacts with senior staff and senior leaders in the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Headquarter Air Force, Air Force Global Strike Command, the National Security Agency, U.S. Strategic Command, as well as other Sentinel team partners from Federally-Funded Research and Development Centers (FFRDCs) and University Affiliated Research Centers (UARCs). This team member will also coordinate and integrate actions with other senior program managers, senior engineers, logisticians, testers, and external agencies.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
BS/MS Engineering., Computer Science, Software, Mathematics, Physics, from an ABET accredited university.
6 yrs experience in direct Program Management support of USAF contracted workloads.
10 yrs (8 yrs with MS degree) of progressive experience in systems integration and analysis of military hardware and software systems/processes (or commercial equivalent).
6 yrs experience in system design, integration, and analytical efforts.
Excellent cognitive, communication (written and spoken), and interpersonal skills.
Active US DoD Secret Security Clearance granted within the last 5 years.
Experience supporting large projects.
Demonstrated strong leadership skills ref: setting expectations, managing work, and lead individuals and teams.
Demonstrated self-discipline to plan and prioritize their own work with successful results.
An active U.S. government Secret security clearance and the ability to obtain a Top Secret level clearance.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Graduate degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
MBA degree and/or PMP certification.
ASEP or other comparable professional certification.
Active U.S. DoD Top Secret Clearance.
Experience managing within, or entire, DoD acquisition programs.
Experience with technical systems, systems engineering, or business.
ICBM Weapon System experience.
General knowledge of MS Project, Primavera or other scheduling tools.
General knowledge of requirements management tools such as DOORS.
General knowledge of product lifecycle management tools such as Teamcenter.
General knowledge of model-based systems engineering processes and applications such as Cameo EA.
General knowledge of software development, integration and deployment in a DevSecOps and/or Cloud environment.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $100530 - $170910

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
