BAE Systems is seeking an exceptional Program Manager with outstanding program manager experience for an exciting opportunity to support the Air Force's acquisition of ground breaking and trend setting technical systems applications and digital solutions supporting the next generation Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) program, Sentinel (formerly Ground Based Strategic Deterrent).
Tell me about this job. This position directly supports the Sentinel Program s Futures Division government division chief. The programs of the division are involved with planning, managing and establishing acquisition of future systems and future components programs needed for programed/prospective upgrades to the Sentinel ICBM. Additionally, software expertise is needed for the development and maturation of the DEvSecOps software environments and solutions to Sentinel Program digital needs. Duties of the Division Lead will specifically include:
Directly support government leadership and maintain strong customer relationships.
Lead a team of program managers and engineers, providing technical guidance and mentoring to improve individual and team performance.
Assess contract performance and resource utilization to ensure progress toward program targets in schedule, cost, risk, and technical performance.
Responsible for the technical quality, content, and results of all projects.
Additionally, the Program Manager will be managing cost, schedules and performance of multiple efforts and four contract line items; Providing expert advice and support to the government stakeholder program leaders and engineers on all Advanced Planning Programs/Digital Futures and Next Generation Reentry Capability program aspects throughout the acquisition development cycle; Leading and organizing ground-breaking cross-agency Technical Interchange Meetings between numerous internal and external mission partners; Managing the day-to-day workforce needs of the division; Supporting customer development and execution of Military Interdepartmental Purchase Requests, financial management execution duties and budgeting of a multimillion dollar annual budget; Quarterly task management using the digital management system JIRA/Confluence; Lastly, conducting/supporting contract oversight duties and Memorandum of Agreement development.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelor s degree
At least 10 years experience in direct Program Management (8 years with Master s).
Excellent cognitive, communication (written and spoken), and interpersonal skills.
Active US DoD Secret Security Clearance granted within the last 5 years.
At least 5 years experience leading technical teams.
Experience managing large projects.
Demonstrated strong leadership skills specifically: setting expectations, managing work, and lead individuals and teams.
Demonstrated self-discipline to plan and prioritize their own work with successful results.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Graduate degree.
MBA degree and/or PMP certification.
Active US DoD Top Secret Clearance granted within the last 5 years.
Experience managing within, or entire, DoD acquisition programs in a Systems Program Office.
Experience with technical systems.
10 years ICBM Weapon System experience.
General knowledge of MS Project, Primavera or other scheduling tools.
General knowledge of requirements management tools.
General knowledge of product lifecycle management tools.
General knowledge of model-based systems engineering processes.
General knowledge of software development, integration and deployment in a DevSecOps and/or Cloud environment.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $103590 - $176130
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
