  Job Title: Sentinel CTF SME Test Engineer

  Location: Hill AFB, UT

  Canvas, Inc. is seeking a Sentinel CTF SME Test Engineer! This position is to provide advisory and assistance services to the Air Force. This is a senior-level position located at Hill Air Force Base (HAFB), as part of the ICBM Combined Test Force (CTF), under the 804th Test Group affiliated with Arnold Engineering and Development Complex and will provide oversight of Sentinel ICBM (formerly GBSD) CTF test activities.

  Duties:

  This position is to provide advisory and assistance services to the Air Force. Duties will include, but are not limited to:

  Provide support to the Sentinel Combined Test Force (CTF) Lead Developmental Test & Evaluation Organization (LDTO) in development test and evaluation (DT&E) activities for AF Nuclear Weapons Center missile systemsSupport Sentinel and Minuteman III developmental test efforts to assess performance against stated program requirementsServe T&E Focal Point for IPT and Test Working Group Co-ChairPlan, schedule, and report on all test activities for area of responsibilityReport, validate, and initially prioritize DRsProvide government DT&E results and final reports to PM, PEO, and other stakeholdersCoordinate test plan/report CDRL reviewsDevelop and update TEMPs and ITT ChartersDevelop and manage PTO agreements for CTFCoordinate/facilitate integration and communication between Sentinel CTF, SPO, and Prime ContractorParticipate in all T&E phases outlined in the DoD Test and Evaluation guidebookCoordinate/Ensure Technical Review Board (TRB) and Safety Review Board (SRB) activities are taking place within Sentinel CTFFollow up on any actions during TRB/SRB's to ensure actions are documented and resolved prior to test readiness review (TRR) and test executionDocument the accomplishment of SRBs, the overall risk assessment, and any associated actionsEnsure appropriate project management controls are established to include oversight test projects are properly closed outConduct a monthly Test Management Review with Sentinel CTF and SPOWork with the Operations Lead and SPO Test Managers to ensure appropriate IPT, Prime Contractor, and Mission Thread Leads are included in project completionProvide support and advocate integrated approaches of Sentinel CTF efforts and support test activities for which existing guidelines may not be available or applicableRequirements:

  Bachelor of Science in Engineering Field required; Master of Science in Business or Master of Science in Engineering Field desiredMust be willing to travel up to 10%Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while being able to prioritize work to balance multiple projects and deadlinesVerbal and written communications are clear, concise, and at appropriate levelPersonal and organizational interactions exhibit and foster cooperation and teamwork, enhance customer relations, and actively promote rapport with customersExperience in conflict resolution within multiple teams so that all parties benefitUtilize resources effectively to accomplish mission, including ability to work effectively alone, unsupervised, or within a groupFocused adherence to safety and security requirementsAbility to direct a group of people or organizationAbility to analyze, prioritize, communicate, and minimize the amount risk an initiative program or project may cause for the entire scheduleExperience in working on DoD test programsFamiliarity with DoD weapon systems and related subsystems/equipment, their projected use in the military, and methods of testingFamiliarity with test & evaluation planningand processes consistent with DoD acquisition directives and policiesFamiliarity with MBSE tools and and using those for requirements verificationFamiliarity with ICBM weapon ystems and related subsystems/equipment, their projected use in the military, and methods of testing; to include Minuteman and Sentinel desiredRequired Security Level: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
