Product Engineering Cadence is hiring graduates to join our Product Engineering teams in San Jose, Austin, Burlington/Boston, Cary, and Pittsburgh. This is an amazing opportunity to work as a Product Engineer at a world leader in computational system software used to develop leading edge semiconductors, and electronic systems. Our customers are the world’s most innovative companies, delivering extraordinary electronic products from chips to boards to complete systems for the most dynamic market applications including hyperscale computing, 5G communications, automotive, mobile, aerospace, consumer, industrial, and healthcare.
Cadence has an immediate position open to join our product engineering team. As a product engineer you will interact directly with customers and Cadence R&D to make our Augmented Reality solutions successful. Being part of the augmented reality solution, you will work with leading edge vision systems, state of the art software stack as you work as part of a high performance team responsible for our InspectAR solution. You will be responsible to help apply modern 3D and interactive technologies into the creation of modern electronic systems.

Position Requirements
MS/BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a similar major.
Understanding of the PCB design process
Experience with 3D modeling, Augmented reality is a bonus.
Excellent automation skills using Tcl, Perl, shell scripting
Excellent oral and written communications skills
Great customer communication skills
Strong project management skills
Familiarity with C/C++ and software development process
Exposure to design automation tools in for PCB design is a plus.
