What you'll get to do
Provide Workday subject matter functional expertise for day-to-day support and development including business process configuration, integrations, data transmission (EIB), testing and other troubleshooting support. Monitor and maintain production Workday and related systems' inbound and outbound integrations. Provide Workday product expertise in the areas of Workday Core HCM and Security. Liaise and develop technology solutions with other Workday SMEs, flexing across modules like Time Tracking, Payroll, Benefits, and Compensation Provide subject matter expertise on Workday best practices and partner with COE(s) to understand pain points, prioritize requirements and identify opportunities to improve processes and gain efficiency by leveraging Workday functionality. Creates creative technology solutions to match COE needs with business processes and requirements. Create and maintain clear, comprehensive, documented business requirements for requested changes, enhancements, or projects; accountable for articulating functional processes from beginning to end and providing thought leadership on functionality and design. Maintain awareness of Workday future releases / roadmap and the potential impact of those plans on current and future Workday functionality. Ensure day-to-day systems support is balanced with strategic enhancements and projects. Responsible for the thorough testing and analysis of new Workday features and functionality and participates in release planning, accountable for regression testing, unit testing, User Acceptance testing and pre-launch testing / sign-off for new features or enhancements. Analyst will be responsible for creating complex Reports and dashboards for HR teams and company leadership as needed Be the champion for Workday optimization and provide subject matter expertise on Workday best practices and partner with Process Owners to understand pain points, identify opportunities to improve processes and gain efficiencies Prioritizes Workday deliverables based on criticality and be able to support multiple HR teams and set expectations for all Workday deliverables. Provide training to new HR business partners and internal HR team members as needed. Identifies and drives continuous improvement initiatives to improve the employee experience, reduce risk and costs, and improve compliance and controls Provides day-to-day support for HR systems and ensures that HR data is captured, recorded, modified and/or updated in the relevant systems and/or files. Ensure that confidential data is maintained in a secure manner. Should be proficient in running various reports for audits and keeping the data clean and maintaining Integrity of the data. Partner with HR/Compensation stakeholders' teams to gain first-hand knowledge of their processes and synthesize knowledge into systems improvements. Must-have Qualifications
5+ years of previous experience in HCM tool suite processes and project management including analysis, stakeholder engagement, and documentation. 5+ years of proven success driving business process implementation. 5+ years of experience with Workday functional configuration across the HCM Suite of modules. (Core HCM, Security, Talent and Performance, Absence and Time-Tracking, Payroll, etc..) supporting a large, global organization. Proven Workday functional expertise - an awareness of what Workday can and cannot do, familiarity with delivered functionality and reports, and experience performing straightforward administrative tasks in Workday (Undoing tasks, manually advancing tasks, waiving requirements). Excellent knowledge on Workday Security model Be resourceful and have a knack for navigating challenges independently; have strong prioritization skills, communication skills, and good judgment. Strong sense of personal accountability for high quality, value-driven work that supports business outcomes; uses design thinking principles. Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in HR, Business, Project Management, MIS or related field preferred OR a significant amount of directly related work experience beyond the minimum required for the position. Base Pay Range: $156,000.00 - 214,500.00 per year
California (excludes SF Bay Area), Washington (excludes Seattle Metro), Washington DC Metro, and Massachusetts
Base Pay Range: $142,400.00 - 195,800.00 per year
All other cities and states excluding California, Washington, Massachusetts, New York City Metro Area and Washington DC Metro Area.
Base Pay Range: $129,600.00 - 178,200.00 per year
Splunk provides flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and/or in-office roles. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out above, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for incentive compensation and may be eligible for equity or long-term cash awards.
