　　Job DescriptionMott MacDonald is searching for a Water/Wastewater Engineer to work with ourestablished Water sector team. This opportunity is open in any of ourlocations listed in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina,Louisiana, Texas, and Colorado. You will work on various projects withinwater/wastewater needing extensive experience in the planning, design,and construction of a variety of types of pumping systems and hydraulicsutilizing HI standards for systems with a relative degree of complexity.

　　Position responsibilities will include:Overseeing and leading engineering efforts for planning, design, andconstruction phase services on municipal water, wastewater, stormwater,and reuse infrastructure projects with heavy emphasis on the hydraulics,pumping, and piping systemsBe able to lead and review detailed calculations for pumping systems includingsystem head development, selection of appropriate pumps, and surgeanalysis, as neededUse of hydraulic modeling softwarePreparing technical memoranda, reports, drawings, specifications, andengineer's estimate of construction costsSupporting field investigations and information collection includingparticipating in or leading field testing to validate the designPreparing engineering and hydraulic calculationsAnalyzing data, reviewing technical information, and conducting technicalevaluationsAssisting with construction submittal review, responding to contractorinformation requests, contract document interpretation, and field observationIn the field troubleshooting pumping and hydraulic issues including analysisfor resolutionLeading system start-up of complicated pumping systems and controls

　　Candidate SpecificationWe invite applications from candidates with the following experience:B.S. Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering;Licensed Professional Engineer with the ability to obtain a Florida PE within6 months15+ years of experience;Extensive experience in the planning, design, and construction of pumpingsystems and hydraulics utilizing HI standards for systems with a relativedegree of complexityMentoring staff engineers;Self-starter with the ability to lead and manage people and projects;Strong technical capabilities related to pumping, piping, and hydraulicsStrong written and oral communication skills, including the ability toprepare and present effective technical reports.Uses and directs others in the use of industry-standard computer software(examples may include PipeFlo, , WaterCAD, InfoWater, SewerCAD, and InfoSewer)
