Your Impact:
The Hearst Visual Group is looking for a Senior Visual Editor to join the team. This position will act as both a photo researcher and producer within the Visual Group with an emphasis on Elle Dcor and House Beautiful, and the potential for an additional brand. The candidate must be an extremely detail-oriented multitasker and have at least four years of experience working in the visual/photo department of a major consumer magazine, website, or similar outlet. Candidate must have experience with photo research, photo production andbe an organized self-starter with a strong ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
Commission photographers and crew for print and digital. Art direct and produce photo shoots, both on-set and remote. Collaborate with brand editors to conceptualize creative shoot concepts. Photo research for print and digital. Support Visual Director on brands and team needs. Work with Visual Directors and Managing Editors to stay on budget for all assignments. Input credits and caption information, route image files and manage pages throughout print issue closings. Create call sheets, shot lists, creative deks and manage production travel. Generate photo contracts, releases, license agreements, permits and certificates of insurance. Qualifications:
At least 4 years of experienceworking in the visual/photo department of a major consumer magazine, website, or similar outlet. This candidate must exhibit professionalism and have a proven ability to work effectively with others. Must have good relationships with photographers, agents, stylists, and stock agencies, and always interested in seeking new talent. Must beambitious, proactive, detail oriented and have the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while remaining organized. A passion for interior design is a must. Previous experience working in this arena is a plus. The basesalaryfor this role is between $67, 000 and $76, 000.The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as: transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base payrangeis subject to change and may be modified in the future.
This is a position covered under the Writers Guild of America, East, Collective Bargaining Agreement.
