Description Robert Half is looking to hire an Accounting Clerk, whose duties will be matching invoices to purchase orders/ vouchers, data entry, and assisting with Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R). This is a short-term contract / temporary employment based in the Portland, Oregon area. Do you thrive in an energetic, team-oriented environment? 　　Your responsibilities in this role

　　General accounting: help with G/L account reconciliation and month-end closing, other ad hoc projects

　　Organize documents that require knowledge in determining proper classification of expenditure codes and accounting codes

　　Put together statements and reports that require utilization of an assortment of sources

　　Assist Accounts Payable: vendor invoices and disbursement filing, A/P invoice matching & filing

　　Upload financial information to journals and ledgers

　　Support Accounts Receivable: apply cash receipt, help with collection of past due balance, and process daily invoices/credit

　　Mend discrepancies by checking all possible sources of disagreement, reconstructing probable actions, and recognizing the effect on other accounts; prepare correction documents as required Requirements - Knowledge of data entry

　　Adeptness in Form 1099

　　Foundational knowledge in Administrative Assistance

　　Filing experience

　　10 Key Skills experience desired

　　Administrative Assistance experience

　　Skilled in Spreadsheet and ERP system

　　AA or BS/BA in Accounting or related field preferred

　　Ability to multitask and attention to detail are critical
