Country Managing Director
CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting a Country Managing Director to drive the growth of our business in Norway, lead the GWS local team to achieve best financial performance and overseecountry operations.
We are seeking a strong and energetic leader with proven experience of delivering business growth with the ability to lead, engage & motivate our teams, who will play a crucial role in bringing our firm to the next level of development.
Key responsibilities:
Drives intensive sustainable growth of the business, leveraging CBRE position on the market and proactively responding to the economic trends and market opportunities.
Creates and implements the local business strategy, leading continuous development of products and services in order to effectively leverage for client and GWS success.
Continually focuses on developing the business through building customer relationships and ensuring that resources are prepared to manage this growth.
Leads the operational delivery of services provided to all clients within the country, maintaining excellent service levels.
Presents a well thought out Country view that ensures the operations, compliance and governance for this country.
Lead company and statutory QHSE compliance, standards and governance for the country.
Ensures the in-country team has the skills and motivation to carry out their roles to the best of their abilities.
Builds and develops high-level customer relationships with both existing and potential local customers.
Own and deliver against country budgets, liaising with matrix budget holders for cross country/divisional clients.
Experience required:
Proven experience gained from managing operations, sales & service delivery in the FM or comparable service industry dealing with corporate clients.
Credible management of relevant P&L levels, delivering expected financial results.
Proven experience as leader of large teams, with ability to motivate and negotiate effectively with employees.
An excellent influencer at all organisational levels (from site level to C-level), including the ability to develop credibility & trust with senior managers/decision makers.
Excellent verbal & written communication skills in English with the ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to employees, clients, top management and/or public groups.
