Position Purpose
The Senior Vice President of Business Development, Chief Growth Officer (CGO) will be an integral member of TRAX International Corporation’s Executive Leadership Team. The successful candidate will apply proven business development skills to lead the corporate new business and marketing functions, including pipeline identification, qualification, opportunity development, capture management and proposal processes. This is a leadership position; the candidate will manage the professional members of the Business Development Team.
This key position is responsible for all market segments and the formulation of policies, programs, and systems to support strategic direction and organizational objectives . The CGO partners with the TRAX leadership team (executives and Program Managers) to ensure the best possible service and effective communications to current and future company customers. The Chief Growth Officer will report to the Chief Executive Officer and will serve as a member of the executive leadership team.
Qualifications
Duties and Responsibilities* Leads and develops new business opportunities, and oversees capture activities, price to win, proposal strategy, identification of key personnel and subject matter experts, as well as marketing efforts* Develops and demonstrates a clear understanding of the market, the company’s service offerings, competitors, partners, and key trends and factors influencing the market over the next five years* Implements and executes corporate new business growth strategy* Conducts the overall go-to-market strategy and coordination of marketing and other communications including effectively communicating the value proposition through proposals and presentations* Provides leadership in the development of joint ventures, teaming and partnership arrangements* Builds, develops and manages the business development team capable of realizing new business bookings* Directs hands-on engagement throughout all business development life cycle milestones* Recommends pursuit strategies based on market research and competitor analyses* Directs implementation and execution of proposal, policies and practices* Performs other job-related duties as needed Required Skills and Qualifications* Bachelor's degree required, MBA or equivalent preferred* 15+ successful years in various business development and marketing management/leadership roles in the federal government services market* Substantive experience selling across DoD and Federal agencies with proven track record of driving new business opportunities culminating in bookings* Ability to execute a growth strategy in a technology-centric, mission solutions domain* Demonstrated capacity to drive year over year organic growth* DoD, DHS and NASA experience are a plus* Excellent verbal and written communication skills* Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance or higher* Highly developed analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills* Able to work effectively in a decentralized organization* Strong organizational and management skills* Advanced skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint) and industry software tools * Must demonstrate a commitment to maintaining a positive, collaborative work environment while simultaneously optimizing individual performance and contribution* Must be able to travel approximately 30% of the time to customer and corporate operational sites Physical Demands and Working Conditions* The work of this position is performed in an environmentally controlled office setting, and/or will be a remote position* Must be capable of sitting and entering data on a computer keyboard for extended periods of time* Must be able to view computer monitor for extended periods of time* Must be able to lift 25 pounds unassisted* Must be able to travel up to approximately 30% of the time to customer and corporate operational sites* Reasonable accommodation can be made to enable people with disabilities to perform the duties and responsibilities Terms of Employment and Eligibility Requirements * Must be a U.S. Citizen.* Must possess a valid driver's license, without special restrictions. * Must be able to successfully complete a background check.* Must possess or be able to obtain secret security clearance prior to employment and maintain security clearance for the duration of employment.The lists above are not intended to be construed as an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties and skills required of personnel in this position.
