How does this role contribute to our collective success?
The AXIS Terrorism and Political Violence team is a widely respected and experienced lead market. The team needs a senior underwriter to continue growing the portfolio and deliver our 2024 plan.
What will you do in this role?
• A senior level professional with a focus on the Emerging Market side of the portfolio.
• Manage relationships with clients/brokers.
• Independently attend group meetings in person, and one-on-one client meetings.
• Plan, set priorities, and play a lead role with regard to client accounts. Interact with colleagues across the organisation on their own to devise and negotiate resolutions to issues.
• Prepare analyses of risks and set premium rates and contribute to marketing strategies and new product ideas.
• Manage relationships that will affect the work of others.
• Will work with Unit Head on business planning and reinsurance strategy.
• Will have broad underwriting authority commensurate with the jobholder’s expertise.
You may also be required to take on additional duties, responsibilities and activities appropriate to the nature of this role.

Role Factors:
In this role, you will typically be required to:
• Be in the office at least 3 days per week
• Represent AXIS through attendance at Lloyd’s at least twice per week
