  Job Description

  AECOM’s US West Region is seeking a Senior Project/Design Manager for its Transportation Business Line to be based in Seattle, WA .

  The West Coast sub-region encompasses the states of WA, OR, CA and NV. This role will be based and focused on the Seattle, WA market.

  The candidate will act as a senior Project or Design Manager within the Pacific NW.

  The successful candidate will have overall responsibility for these projects and coordination of all technical issues among various disciplines of the project team, as well as client management and project controls, including invoicing, schedule, and budget.

  The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to the following:

  As part of the management team, candidate will serve as a primary point of contact between the technical team and the client.

  Interface with clients using various forms of communication to organize and coordinate the design deliverables.

  Train, mentor and develop staff and support career growth opportunities for staff.

  Manage marketing coordination and proposal preparation. Lead proposal interview teams.

  Ensure the overall project design is completed in accordance with the contract documents.

  Manage and lead all aspects of the project, including technical, financial, schedule, and client satisfaction. Report to senior management on the project status on a regular basis.

  Plans, directs, and supervises all operations included in a large, complex project or several moderately sized projects with greater risk and complexity, and significant financial impact.

  Qualifications

  Minimum Qualifications:

  Bachelor’s Degree + 12 years of related experience and/or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 4 years of leadership experience.

  Ability to pass MVR check.

  Preferred Qualifications:

  15 + years of relevant design/project management experience within the transportation field.

  Strong relationships with Sound Transit and WSDOT

  Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of WA

  Additional Information

  Offered rate of compensation (Seattle, Washington) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $163,000-$300,000.

  Due project requirementt, U.S. work sponsorship is not offered for this opportunity.
