　　Senior Technical Writer

　　We are looking for a Senior Technical Writer on the product documentation team at Automation Anywhere, who will develop content that helps our customers, partners, and employees better understand how to configure and use our products to solve their business needs.

　　The ideal candidate is empathetic to user needs, passionate about improving user experience, has excellent communication (written and verbal) skills, a hands-on approach to exploring new technologies, attention to detail, self-motivated, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

　　RESPONSIBILITIES :

　　The responsibilities and duties of this role include, but are not limited to:

　　Develop customer-facing product documentation for a product area.

　　Collaborate with other writers, engineers, product managers, designers, and peers in the support, training, and professional services teams to build user-centric product content (help articles, in-product contextual assistance, and videos) for relevant user personas.

　　Assimilate and organize a large amount of technical information into targeted formats that users can easily find and apply.

　　Improve the accuracy, consistency, and quality of existing customer-facing product content.

　　Gather and analyze feedback from customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to support business process and content improvements.

　　Contribute to multiple projects simultaneously, potentially manage projects, when needed.

　　Remain current with trends to recommend enhancements to standards, processes, and tools.

　　Use critical thinking and problem-solving skills to build just the right amount of content to present at the right time and place to the user.

　　QUALIFICATIONS

　　BS/BA in English, Communications, Business, Engineering, or related field is required (or equivalent work experience).

　　5 – 8 years of hands-on experience creating content in U.S. English for technology products and solutions.

　　Preferred experience in Enterprise and/or SaaS environments.

　　Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.

　　Knowledge of DITA and structured authoring. Experience with XML-based authoring tools like Oxygen and XMetal.

　　Experience with one or more of the following systems: DITA-compatible version-control systems, such as Ixiasoft, Heretto, or Git.

　　Experience with video capturing software, like Captivate or Camtasia, is preferred.

　　Demonstrated commitment to excellence and high-quality standards.
