Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Generative AI Senior Solutions Architect to help build and execute the technical enablement strategy and related content to ensure our technical field and customers can leverage the next-generation of GenAI-based solutions.
GenAI is allowing customers to enhance customer experiences, generate content, automate processes, and more. New products and services will emerge, industrial operations will modernize, and the way consumers across a range of verticals interact with data will fundamentally change. AWS and our Specialist GenAI team specifically, is central to the changes generative AI will have on our customers, industries, and the world. We will make AWS the best place for our customers and partners to build and deploy their GenAI workloads.
This is a highly technical position for someone with deep experience who can dive deep, build complex, domain-specific AWS-optimized architectures that ultimately helps customers accelerate their adoption of AWS capabilities. As a Senior Technical Enablement Solutions Architect on the GenAI Solutions Builder team, your job is to improve our technical sellers' domain and use-case knowledge, focusing on how they can apply our GenAI solutions to customer problems. You will participate in the design of the overall vision for GenAI's technical field enablement, build high-quality technical collateral, work with teams across the organization to ensure we have a consistent technical approach to the field, and coordinate with our Training and Certification team to make this knowledge more broadly available to our end customers.
You combine product development skills with agility, building high-quality software that uses GenAI that highlights AWS capabilities in this area. You can learn new concepts and tools quickly and work at all levels of the GenAI stack, from model building/tuning to applying higher-level GenAI-powered services to build business applications. You are able to succinctly describe complex technical details to technical personnel, whom may not have a deep familiarity with the space, to the point where they are comfortable using the material with customers.
Key job responsibilities
Work with our GenAI Go-to-market and Solutions Architect teams to understand the key GenAI solutions and help craft technical field enablement plans for them.
Craft scalable, flexible, and resilient technical enablement artifacts for targeted GenAI use cases
Partner with our Machine Learning technical field community leadership team to align on technical enablement activities
Educate customers on the value proposition of AWS's generative AI capabilities, and participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud
Author or contribute to AWS customer-facing publications such as white papers, presentations, demos, and reference architectures
Capture customer and field feedback, advocating for roadmap enhancements, and anticipating customer requirements as you work backwards from their needs.
Act as a trusted advisor to the customer and a technical liaison between customers, service engineering teams, and partners

Basic Qualifications
8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience
Experience working with end user or developer communities
College/University degree or equivalent experience
Technical Cloud Certification
Proven ability to lead projects with complex challenges with extensible, operationally excellent, cost optimized, and aligned solutions outcomes
Ability to lead a team or small organization-wide initiative with business objectives that are partially defined
Able to effectively communicate across an increasing diversity of audiences internally and externally
Strong ability to determine solution strategy and where to simplify or extend solutions for the best outcome
Ability to influence customer and internal business decision makers as a technical thought leader
Experience developing software across the entire stack in a highly agile environment.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $122,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $239,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
