Description:
The Senior Tax Accountant will work with the International Tax Director to implement and build valuable business solutions for a fast-paced established multinational business, whose annual revenue are in the range of $15 billion dollars. The Senior Tax Accountant will primarily be responsible for the foreign reporting compliance portion of the U.S. tax return, other North American regional tax returns, the Company’s Country by Country Reporting responsibilities, managing the Company’s tax provisions software, and consolidation of the Company’s global tax provision. This role will report directly to the International Tax Director and will sit in Hanover, MD. The role will require collaboration and communication with Tax and Accounting teams that sit in the U.S. (primarily Hanover, MD) and outside of the U.S. (UK, Hong Kong, and India).
•Coordinate the preparation and review foreign reporting portion of the U.S. tax return (Form 5471, 8858, 987, CBCR Reporting);
•Coordinate the preparation and review of non-U.S. entities’ local country tax returns (primarily Canada and Puerto Rico);
•Track local country tax return filings across all applicable countries;
•Manage admirative functions of Tax provision software (Hyperion - TRCS)
•Prepare tax provisions for Canada and Puerto Rico entities and assist in overall consolidation of the global tax provision;
•Compute quarterly estimated tax payments;
•Assist with the documentation and transfer pricing analysis of intercompany transactions;
•Manage income tax withholding requirements and submission of withholding tax for both U.S. (FATCA, Form W-9, Form W-8BEN, W-8BEN-E, Form 1042’s) and non-U.S. matters;
•Research domestic and foreign tax laws pertaining to corporate operations. Recommend policies and procedures necessary to comply with tax laws while satisfying the company’s objectives.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
• 2 to 4 years Public accounting experience or internal tax department of a US Multinational Company is a must
• Solid understanding of intercompany transactions involving multiple currencies
• Bachelor’s degree in Tax, Accounting, Finance or related field
• CPA, CPA Candidate or equivalent qualification preferred
