Senior Tax Accountant

Responsibilities:

Prepare various income tax returns for companies of all sizes

Collaborate with the tax team on tax planning, client interaction, and special tax projects

Gather and analyze tax-related information from clients

Calculate quarterly tax estimates and prepare tax adjusting journal entries

Ensure maximum tax benefits by examining tax situations from various angles

Prepare accounting-related reports in a paperless office environment

Resolution of federal and state tax notices and inquiries from tax authorities

Research tax laws and regulations to advise clients

Requirements:

3 – 5 years of experience in tax within a public accounting environment

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required, Master’s degree preferred

CPA preferred, must be CPA eligible with desire to become a CPA, Or Enrolled Agent certification also accepted

Experienced in preparing individual and business income tax returns

Strong research skills staying up on tax industry regulations

Team player with a strong work ethic and great attitude

Salary: $70K - $90K
