Description:

　　Aston Carter is partnered with a public accounting firm in Omaha to hire a Sr. Tax Accountant to join their team.

　　Duties:

　　• Review of U.S. federal, state, and U.S. international tax filings (Forms 1065, 1120, 1118, 5471, 8858, and 8865).

　　• Review of Canadian federal and provincial income tax returns.

　　• Perform Computation of estimated tax payments.

　　• Complete assigned projects within schedule.

　　• Monitor and interpret tax legislation.

　　• Provide solutions and guidance for systems/processes that may need to be added or adjusted to meet new legislation requirements.

　　• Perform with income tax audits and field support.

　　• Research and analyze tax issues.

　　• Interact with key stakeholders, including Management, other financial departments, tax preparers and external auditors.

　　Qualifications:

　　• Bachelors Degree in Accounting

　　• 3+ years of income tax experience

　　• Proven accounting/tax technical abilities, strong problem-solving skills, strong organizational skills and detail oriented.

　　• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, income tax compliance and research software).

　　• Must be able to meet deadlines, juggle multiple tasks and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
