Job Description

　　Insight Global seeks a Sr Systems Engineer to join a leader in hydrogen fuel cells and energy solutions. This position will be based in East Hartford, CT and the role is primarily onsite. Day to day, the role will involve the planning of technical design, system integration, cost and risk assessment, and compliance assessment of technological systems. The ideal candidate will collaborate with the product office to define system and component level requirement, and to develop an architecture that satisfies those requirements. The Systems Engineering group is involved throughout the entire product life cycle, from concept to field support. Some of the work this person will accomplish is performing systems-focused tasks such as steady-state modeling, dynamic modeling and failure. This can also include mode analysis/troubleshooting, control synthesis, and verification/validation testing.

　　Skills and Requirements

　　-6+ years of systems engineering experience or equivalent with bachelor's or masters' degree

　　-Background and degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering

　　-Manufacturing product background with some experience in control systems, systems integration, risk assessment, root cause analysis, heat and mass balance models and pressure drop models as examples

　　-Demonstrated critical thinking skills, ability to present analysis and design reviews to leadership -Background with energy or fuel cell design

　　-Strong computer skills with MS Excel or pressure drop/heat and mass balance software null
