Description:

　　Will help lead the structural engineering team, providing leadership, mentoring, and oversight of work given to junior staff. Will work on the analysis and design of various commercial, institutional, and/or industrial buildings, and will include structural steel, reinforced concrete, and masonry. Will develop designs, drawings, and specifications for the main building structural frame and foundations. Will sign off on drawings and be responsible for the construction administration. Will use Revit and RISA. This can be a hybrid role, and their policy is 4 days remote, 1 day in office for experienced engineers, 4 days in office for junior/entry-level. Can be flexible on this depending on the experience of the candidates. Could include occasional travel to job sites. If person has PE and 10 years or more of experience, they could consider a fully remote person.

　　MUST HAVES:

　　Bachelors in Civil Engineering with a Structural focus

　　8 plus years of experience

　　Relevant project experience: Industrial, Institutional, and/or Commercial projects

　　Revit experience

　　RISA3D and/or RISAFloor experience

　　PE or ability to obtain one in 6-12 months

　　BONUS:

　　Masters degree

　　Michigan PE license

　　12 plus years of experience
