Principal Service Solutions is seeking Operation Managers to join our team supporting our customer in Hillsboro, Oregon. The ideal candidate will have previous management level experience supporting equipment service and installation in a technology-based industry.
Title: Operations Manager
Pay Range: $30.00- $33.00/hr DOE
Shift: 12-hour CWW Shifts

Overview:
The Operations Manager will be responsible for day to day people management of a team of 12 Manufacturing Technicians , supporting a service contract at our end customer, a leading semiconductor manufacturer.
The position is located at Ronler Acres - Hillsboro, OR and will require on-site based work in and out of the fab floor.
A high degree of professionalism and management presence are required.
Key Deliverables:
Compliance with all safety requirements
Employee Management, mentorship and satisfaction.
Customer Management and satisfaction.
KPI Tracking and Reporting.
Successful documentation and distribution of company policies, procedures and guidelines.
Scope:
Communicate regularly with employees to maintain and improve employee satisfaction.
Promote good work ethics and attitude.
Ensure completion of any and all safety training and certification.
Manage and track training progress and certification.
Manage attrition rates with attention to continuous improvement.
Manage mentorship programs with key employees.
Assist PSS corporate with employee acquisitions and terminations.
Work with customers to understand their issues and road-blocks and generating associated plans to solve the issues and road-blocks.
Meet regularly with customers to understand improvement opportunities and present improvement project plans.
Develop, track and present data that includes but is not limited to down-time reports, staffing reports and quality issues.
Develop goals and measures for all OWLA personnel supporting the customer and perform periodic reviews of personnel to communicate success.
Identify work related areas that require the generation or modification of company policies, procedures and guidelines. Execute on documentation requirements.
Manage and promote professionalism in the work force.
Promote employee referrals
Other tasks and duties as assigned.
Candidate Profile:
Management/leadership experience
Previous semiconductor or microelectronics experience is preferred.
AA degree in technical/engineering subject
Prior military experience is viewed very positively
Must be proficient in MS Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Must have sense of urgency when issues arise
