　　Job Summary and Qualifications

　　As a Senior/Lead Speech Language Pathologist, you will provide a full range of speech therapy services including evaluation, treatment planning, therapeutic interventions and discharge planning. 　　What you will do in this role:

　　You will provide goal-directed treatment program planning/implementation, related documentation and communication for pediatric, adolescent, adult and/or geriatric patient populations

　　You are responsible for treating patients with suspected speech, language, cognitive, communicative, and swallowing impairments

　　You will coordinate daily activities of the speech therapy services, participate in program development, quality improvement and problem solving in a flexible team fashion

　　Assist with the interviewing, hiring, and disciplinary process for staff

　　What qualifications you will need:

　　MA or MS in Speech Pathology

　　California State Board licensure to practice Speech Therapy

　　Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)

　　Minimum of 3 years’ hospital experience required

　　Current BLS
