　　Job Description:

　　We are seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to join our current team responsible for the development of safety critical flight systems for airborne and space vehicles. This individual will support all phases of the software engineering lifecycle to produce solutions that satisfy a range of customer requirements.

　　Essential Functions:

　　Collaborative team member across multiple components developing embedded software for Strategic Missions customers.

　　Translate design requirements and workflows into working software.

　　Perform unit, integration, and system test activities.

　　Generate technical documentation in support of software releases.

　　Use of C to develop embedded software.

　　Working directly with Real-Time Operating Systems (e.g. RTEMS)

　　Writing low level software such as drivers and Board Support Packages (BSP)

　　Working directly with Communication Protocols such as Ethernet, RS422, and 1553

　　Working with sensors such as IMU and GPS

　　Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.

　　Qualifications:

　　Bachelor’s degree in electrical or computer Engineering, Computer Science, or similar and 6 years of prior relevant experience or Graduate/Master’s degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.

　　2+ years of experience with Windows and Linux development environments

　　Preferred Additional Skills:

　　Experience with the LEON3 Processor

　　Experience with NI Test Stand for Test Automation

　　Experience with Subversion for source control

　　Basic knowledge of hardware design, circuits, schematics, & test equipment
