　　The Compensation Technology is responsible for the review, configuration, and testing of new internal sales commission plan requirements into our calculation engines. The Compensation is also responsible for the hand-off of the implemented changes to the Compensation Operations group for ongoing processing.

　　Humana is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support our commission area. In this role, you will evaluate the impact of requested changes and work closely with stakeholders to configure the commission calculation rules along with any needed reporting. The ideal candidate would have experience configuring complex payment calculations and reports using the Varicent ICM software application.

　　The Senior Software Engineer oversees system configuration and develops fixes for defects. Researches configuration requests and makes necessary adjustments and/or recommendations to resolve complex software related issues.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Review inbound stories that are submitted for system updatesDetermine impacts and configuration of the changes requestedConfigures system calculated commissions from the user stories providedCorrects defects to ensure pay calculations and statements are accurate

　　Required Qualifications

　　Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent work experience5 or more years of experience designing and configuring complex software applicationsAbility to learn new platforms quicklyIsolates, reproduces, and corrects defectsDevelops configuration procedures for ensuring the software products meet organization standards and end-user requirements

　　Preferred Qualifications

　　3 or more years of configuring Varicent ICM software applications

　　The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay decisions will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

　　$104,800 - $144,300 per year

　　This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
