Senior Software Engineer

　　R&D – Onit – Pune, Maharashtra – Full Time

　　Onit is currently hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join our team and work on our contract management SaaS product for our subsidiary, AxDraft. You’ll be involved in many aspects of the Engineering process, helping evolve our existing architecture, and implementing new features and functionality.

　　Role and Responsibilities

　　Collaborate with the team to design, develop, test, and implement software solutions using JavaScript (ES6+), React, Node.js, and Sass.

　　Assist in integrating front-end UI with the constructed APIs and backend services.

　　Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining high development standards.

　　Contribute to the optimization of our applications for performance and scalability.

　　Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software.

　　Write reusable, testable, and efficient code.

　　Assist in the creation of technical documentation for reference and reporting.

　　Continuously learn and improve skills to keep up with the latest technology trends.

　　Required Skills:

　　8+ years of professional experience in software development.

　　Strong understanding of JavaScript (ES6+).

　　Familiarity with Node.js and creating web services.

　　Experience with React and its core principles.

　　Nice to Have:

　　Experience with TypeScript.

　　Knowledge of Docker and containerization practices.

　　Familiarity with server-side rendering (SSR).

　　Experience with bundling tools such as Webpack.

　　Experience with Sass or other CSS pre-processors

　　Qualifications:

　　BE/BTech in CS/IT or MCA or MSc (CS) preferred.
