What you’ll achieve

As an DevOps Platform Engineer, you will merge software engineering, modern DevOps, and deployments to help teams deploy at scale. You will use technical knowledge, hardware engineering, and software development to build technology-centric solutions that accelerate the development across the company. You will conduct defect analysis, develop and drive improvements, maintain/monitor production and non-production systems, and ensure platforms perform at maximum efficiency and security.

You will:

•Design specifications for high availability and highly scalable applications which will be used by both internal and external customers

•Work with clients and business analysts to settle software requirements and system impacts

•Manage projects with small to moderate budgets; may perform in project management role and/or supervise the activities of lower-level personnel

•Conduct and supervise production launches and post-launch support, coordinating with geographically distributed teams in conference calls

Essential Requirements

• Linux System Administration, including build and configuration of enterprise application platforms

• Hands on experience with administering GitLab, GitHub, or equivalent Source Code and deployment applications

• Knowledge of tools used in deployment, monitoring, and operations (Ex: Terraform, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, Grafana, etc.)

• A work ethic and technical knowledge/capability with ability to self-manage workload and deliverables under tight deadlines

• A highly motivated self-starter with a positive attitude and outstanding interpersonal skills

Desirable Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

•5 to 8 years of validated experience in testing/coding/IT software
