　　What you'll do...

　　The Associate Digital Experience (ADE) Transformation Team is looking for a Senior Software Engineer and Tech Lead to join the Global Tech Organization, working alongside a team of talented product, project, and engineering teams to deliver experiences that associates trust.

　　As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll spend your days translating requirements into solutions, writing code, collaborating with cross-functional teams and providing us with the insights necessary to think beyond the status quo. You'll oversee project teams consisting of other engineers who will look to you as a trusted advisor, a subject matter expert who provides guidance and the right tools to get the job done.

We also provide a variety of services such as procurement, supplier portfolio management, merchandising master data, and analytics. From developing HR chatbots and virtual assistants to creating invoice solutions and facilitating legal changes, we help drive efficiency across Walmart globally.

　　The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Node JS, React, SQL, Azure. The successful candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving results.

　　Analyze business and software requirements to determine the feasibility of designs within time and cost constraints for Walmart's systems.

　　Design, develop, and maintain new software features using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure the outcomes and consequences of the design. Utilize Kubernetes, Cosmos, Kafka, and GitHub.

　　Work with business and product teams for gathering requirements and users' questions, concerns, challenges, and issues. Identify short and long-term solutions.

　　Lead cross-functional partnership to facilitate resolution. Troubleshoot business and production issues by gathering information related to issue, impact, criticality, and possible root cause.

　　Engage support teams to assist in the resolution of issues. Formulate an action plan and perform actions as designated in the plan. Interpret the results to determine further action. Perform root cause analysis to prevent future occurrence of issues and complete online documentation.

　　Develop and direct automated software system testing and validation procedures to validate the business flow end-to-end. Lead medium to large scale projects by reviewing project requirements, translating requirements into technical solutions, gathering requested information, writing and developing code, conducting unit testing, and communicating status and issues to team members and stakeholders.

　　Collaborate with project team and cross functional teams to troubleshoot open issues and bug-fixes ensuring on-time delivery and hand-offs. Interact with project manager to provide input on project plan and provide update to the project team. Develop, execute, and improve action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices.

　　Participates in the discovery phase of small to medium-sized projects to come up with high level design by partnering with the product management, project management, business, and user experience teams.

　　Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices; supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs; and building commitment for perspectives and rationales.

　　Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by incorporating these into the development and implementation of business plans; using the Open Door Policy; and demonstrating and assisting others with how to apply these in executing business processes and practices.

　　What you'll bring:

　　7+ years of experience in full stack software development.

　　Strong experience with Node JS, React, SQL, Azure.

　　Experience with Agile development methodologies.

　　Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

　　Ability to also collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify requirements and design solutions that meet business needs.

　　Experience demonstrating accomplishments involving the creation of clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

　　Ability to perform pull requests and provide constructive feedback to other team members.

　　Strong experience troubleshooting and debugging software issues in a timely manner.
