As a Senior Software Engineer on our team, we are looking for someone who can help build extensible service platform that processes the terabytes of data per hour and enable cost management experiences and underlying data and infrastructure capabilities across multiple clouds/tenants.

Responsibilities
Work with various Azure technologies to build scalable cloud services, highly available systems on big data platform, dynamic and high-performance solutions.
Design, write and deliver software to optimize all aspects of deployments (resources/applications) ‘infrastructure-as-code’.
Learn and enhance existing tools, developing new tools to meet new scale and features aimed at reducing manual intervention, enhancing prevention, detection, and mitigation of service impacts.
Coordinate execution with internal engineering teams, business partners and technical leaders across the division.
Influence and collaborate across teams to bring best practices, architectures, standards, and methods for large-scale distributed systems.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or related technical discipline AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C++, C#, Java,
OR equivalent experience.
2+ years of experience using any Big Data platforms.
Other Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
OR equivalent experience.
Ability to deal with the ambiguity associated with working in a fast-paced and changing environment.
Effective communication skills, capable of engaging with internal and external partners.
2+ years implementing/automating using CICD tools.
Experience in building frameworks that orchestrate data processing is a plus.
Experience working with very large-scale datasets, with attention to details and the drive for results.
Ability to manage multiple project phases at the same time.
Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $112,000 - $218,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $145,800 - $238,600 per year.
