　　Job Duties:

　　Drives development, testing, deployments, and iterative improvement of software product capabilities and features in collaboration with designers, product managers, and other engineers on the product team.

　　Leverages critical thinking, experimentation, data, and industry best practices to implement desired business outcomes.

　　Develops high quality software applications that are secure, easy to operate, difficult to break, and extremely observable with measurable results.

　　Responsible for all technical aspects of the software product application lifecycle including code, infrastructure, data, security, and CICD.

　　Establishes product engineering and software standards.

　　Continuously develops self and demonstrates a strong knowledge of new technologies, modern application architecture, and industry best practices.

　　Mentors and assists engineers and evangelizes best practices. Pairs with and mentors engineers while evangelizing best practices.

　　Build data management platforms using Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Apache, and other Big Data services that align with customers’ requirements.

　　Required Minimum Position Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field of study; and five (5) years of work experience in the job offered or related occupation in which the required experience was gained.

　　Position also requires demonstrated experience in the following:

　　Google Data Products (e.g. BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, or DataStudio)

　　ANT, MAVEN, or Jenkins

　　Python and Scala

　　SVN or GIT

　　Database design experience including SQL or PL/SQL

　　MAPREDUCE, PIG, SPARK, HIVE, KAFKA, SCOOP, or Airflow

　　Full SDLC requirements gathering, planning, estimation, development and testing, and deployment

　　Continuous integration & continuous deployment (CICD), and test-driven development (TDD)

　　End to End Solution Design skills for Data Engineering and Streaming pipelines

　　Prototyping, Usability testing, and data visualization.
