　　The AWS network is composed of millions of heterogeneous network devices, all of which need to be managed in a consistent manner, abstracted away from platform-specific differences, and reduced in complexity for our customers. The Network Data Management Systems have an exciting charter to provide scalable platform services for building authoritative data services for the Amazon Network. We are the network datastore for All network devices and our team offers a set of services and APIs which work in tandem to share this authoritative view with the core services needed to run the AWS network.

Focused on controlling the internet traffic that allows users to access their information and applications regardless of where they are in the world. GCNA is responsible for building and designing a complex backbone network that allows internet traffic to flow efficiently between data centers and customers.

　　Basic Qualifications

　　5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience

　　5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience

　　5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience

　　Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team

　　Preferred Qualifications

　　5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience

　　Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

　　Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $134,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $261,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
